Raft Float Trips
What To Expect?

YEAR ROUND ABOVE 50 F.
For Groups Of 2 to 50 Participants

For those wanting to explore the Shenandoah Valley's many rivers with the stability of a large raft, this activity is for you! We use twelve, thirteen, and fifteen foot white water rafts which are nearly impossible to flip and are still very easy to steer. Each raft can seat at least 6 - 12 adults (depending on it's size) and includes a guide in each raft. These trips are particularly wonderful for families with small children or older adults. We also can run raft trips all year so long as the air temp. is above 50 F. Neoprene wet suits, gloves, socks, or booties are available for no cost for any cool weather trips!

Dry bags, first aid kit, and bathroom kit will also be provided.

Participants will be required to wear a life jacket at all times while we are on the river. A height and weight measurement will be required of each participant before the trip, so we can bring the correct size life jackets for everyone.

What To Wear?

Comfortable clothing or bathing suit appropriate for the expected weather and preferably made of synthetic fiber that dries quickly, and comfortable shoes that you do not mind getting wet and muddy in the river.

No open toed shoes or sandals because they do not protect your toes and tops of your feet from rocks and sharp objects.

What To Pack?

A bag lunch sealed in a zip-lock bag; drinks in screw-top plastic bottles, and sunscreen.
